1. No Accounts or Tracking
You can use Pagewise anonymously. We do not require you to create an account, provide an email address, or enter personal information to convert your documents.
2. How Your Files Are Handled
When you upload a PDF, it is processed solely to extract page dimensions, render requested preview thumbnails, and generate the converted PNG files:
- Your files are used exclusively to make your PNG images.
- We do not read, analyze, categorize, or train artificial intelligence or machine learning models on your documents.
- Your files are never shared with or sold to third parties.
3. Automatic Deletion Timers
Your documents exist only temporarily in isolated server storage:
Uploaded PDFs: Kept for up to 30 minutes of inactivity so you can re-convert or change settings, then purged automatically. You can also delete your file immediately at any time by clicking “Choose another file” or “Start over”.
Converted PNG/ZIP files: Automatically and irrevocably deleted 30 minutes after completion.
4. Infrastructure & Server Logs
Temporary request logs (e.g., IP address, request timestamp, HTTP status codes) are maintained briefly for security, abuse detection, and rate limiting purposes.
